christo^ great looking garage you have!!! I routinely get 32-33 mpg (w/ac) going 65-75 mph down I45 south from Main in Downtown to BW8 .... I love the mpgs on the GTI...

Someone's head is up his ass.

that's a little stereotypical, but I must say I couldn't agree with you more.

The imagery you gave there is a direct correlation between the person you described and that car.

I'm also not too sure why that description fits, but I'm just glad my car doesn't give off that kind of vibe.

gti over mustang any day.

good work! :thumbsup::clap:

haha, thanks man. and its not like i came up with that out of thin air or anything.. have seen enough of those type of guys that roughly fit that description rolling in some kind of mustang over the years to put that stereotype out there. on a serious note though, my uncle (who did not fit that description) used to own an '86 Mustang SVO, turbo.. That thing was a beast of a car and had a really nice turbo 'whistle'.

ironically, my uncle who also doesn't fit this description has an 88 mustang that just sits in his garage collecting dust.

I love the new mustangs, and still am considering the 5.0 if i dont go with the GTI...owned a production year 64.5....loud and slow but fun. i would just feel like a bitch if i bought a new mustang and didn't get a V8. .02
