Here's a picture of it sporting 18x8" BBS COs with 225/40R18 Yokohama S Drives



And here's a picture I photoshopped of it with coils (next mod) - trying to convince the girlfriend that an exhaust would actually sound good but it might take some time for that to get approved :ack2:




I'll likely be purchasing VMaxx coils for it since the DriverGear springs are on backorder and I hate waiting for stuff. I do have red caliper paint that I will be using shortly to clean up the look of the wheels, but other than that it's just a DD :D

3 person drop - looking better.. honestly, when 2 people are in the car and it's out driving around I don't even think it needs a drop! it's when the car is sitting still in a parking lot with no one in it that it looks like crap. I am sold on the AWE exhaust but she doesn't care so much, give it some time - I'll get it :laugh:

I didn't think it would but it actually makes a difference with people in it judging from the pictures.

Since you dont seem too worried about the warranty on your golf, have you seen this ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZ2OC9MSzXc

It makes it sound that much better and paired with the exhaust it would be a mean bolt on combo. Not too sure but you probably would be running near the same HP as a GTI and you would also sound way better ( my opinion)

ya - I'll look into buying an intake/exhaust later on, but for now just cosmetic stuff

Painted the calipers in my driveway, spent the whole morning making sure everything turned out clean and very neat






And here's a quick pshop I did of it lowered with GTI side skirts ... ST Coils will hopefully be here this week

Update: ST Coilovers installed, they need to be adjusted higher because it's not really driveable right now

I just got coils put on my car on tuesday. the fender to group height is 24 1/8 on all four tires. Hasn't been a problem for me as a daily driver.
