j/k. Don't know about online options in Glasgow, but I've had good luck ordering online in the states.

Tire Rack. Got both my winter and summer tires and wheels from them, both mounted and balanced and ready to install.

I bought my tires(tyres) from a local tire chain. They did mounting and install along with a warranty on them, so if they get a puncture or something i just take it in and pay their certificate fee (which was like $30 a tire) and they replace the tire for no extra charge.

I would go see what you have in your area... not familiar with how glasgow works but where i live there is like 5 shops within 10 minutes that mainly do just tires.

I got a set of Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT XL tires mounted on 16" wheels from Tire Rack. Three winters on them, they work just fine. I can tell the difference in ride when I put the 18-in wheels back on in the spring for sure, but the traction over the winter has been really good.
