rear speaker two door

if I want to mount some coax in the rear since they're just lying around and are 100x better than stock (I assume), do I only nee to attach the 2 low end wires or do I need to connect both negs and both pos together and attach to terminals?

the speakers are old school morel ovations which I believe had outboard crossovers which I no longer have.

It was a bad question because only two wires go to each side in the rear to the low end (bass speaker), then those wires are teed off to the tweeters.
I assume theirs an internal crossover in those bass speakers, much like most coax speakers operate. I'm not fully sure but the rears are installed component style yet must be ran like coax speakers as far as xover goes.
I'm reasonably sure.
