2011 gti epc code

Hey all, I've had my gti for about 2 months, loved every minute but last night I started the car after work, rainy night, and it threw the CEL and EPC lights on, running rough but not a tremendous power loss. Made it home, went to leave for work and it's still the same. Going to disconnect the battery when I get home but anyone have any other good pointers as to where to start? Thanks for your help in advance!

Did some research on coil packs and such, about to purchase plugs and r8 coils, will update once installed.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Stock coil packs are notorious for going bad and causing the exact issues you're having. R8 coils are much more robust. I don't think anyone has had an r8 coil fail.
