AP's First Build

I recently picked up a 2012 Candy White Four Door GTI after months of searching! I had been looking all over the forums and dealer websites in the Midwest. I had a few things on my "want" list: Candy White, 4 door, Leather, OEM navigation, manual and under 80,000 Miles. I was able to cross everything off my "want" list expect for the manual, I can live with the DSG. Even better yet I was able to find one about 40 miles from home, and it was practically 100% stock! I’ve already learned so much from this forum and can’t wait to continue this build!

First "cosmetic" mods. Both super small but look so much better!

Rear Wiper Delete:



Clear Side Markers:

Replaced the black rear VW badge with an OEM Chrome one, also added the KLII Motowerks VW Rear Badge Inlay. I think it came out great and looks much better this way.

Next came low. Ordered some ST Coilovers and installed with a friend. Loving the fitment.

Just picked up some Golf R LED Tail Lights - Dark Cherry from a guy on the BurnAllTheMK6 Facebook Page. They look absolutely killer!

Your build looks like it's starting off great! I just picked up the exact same car (except interlogos interior and 6MT) and it's completely stock too, thinkin of doing a build thread too. Those tails look awesome, mind me asking how much you were able to get them for used? That look sooo much better than stock. Subbed for updates!

Looks good. Chrome badges look best on candy white. And yea the LED tail lights give the rear a much nicer look, theyre a must have. Looks like you need a stage 1 flash...
