I'm having troubles with my stupid tpms system. Despite checking that all sensors are sending the correct pressures and are working fine, the light flashes for a bit before going solid every time I turn on the car. VW dealers want to charge $145 to run a scan to see what's wrong, but quite honestly I'm not interested in fixing the system. If anyone has a VAGCOM and could help me just flip the light off, or if they know of a shop that will do it on the fly, I'd be willing to trade a six pack of beer (of your choice) to wherever. I keep a tire pressure gauge in the car at all times, and my understanding is that the Mk6 systems were junk anyway. No reset button in the glovebox, which would have been ideal.
