Possible Driveshaft slack/play

Is this normal??
Iíve noticed a bit of play in the front wheels/driveshaft while rotating my tyres today, with one of the front wheels in the air and the other on the ground I am able to rotate the wheel (as if it were rolling) back and forth about 5-10 degrees, is this something to be concerned about? Itís the same on both sides and the wheel and driveshaft move together so the play (if thatís what it is) is at the transmission end and doesnít appear to be the CV joints, Iím inclined to think itís normal but not sure!

EDIT: Iíve just spotted Iíve posted this in the R forum and it should have been in the GTI one sorry! I guess the question would span both though possibly!

Normal. That's just the gear lash being taken up.
