You'd be wise to get an aftermarket intake if you're going to tune. Not gonna say it's required, but it is recommended by the majority.

Something that hasn't been mentioned- the stock tires on these cars are pretty bad. To fully enjoy the handling and put down power most efficiently, most will recommend upgraded tires.

So then.

-APR Stage 1
-Clutch upgrade
-R8 coils
-Carbon cleaning
-Keep up on oil changes

And I should be good for another 50k miles?

That's a good list. Add air and fuel filters and you should be set.

Glad you're safe. I just got my GTI about a month ago. Time flies lol.

Coming from other forums (SVTPerformance,LRodder) search always helps. There's a stupid questions thread though haha. Great group of guys here from the month I have been here.
