Engine & TCS warning lights turned on

Hello,

Golf6, 165000 km, 2011, 1.2 TSI

During this winter, TCS warning light turned on couple of times, in city driving mode: max 70km/h. Didn't catch much of my attention, until I haven't drove to the highway and realized that the car doesn't go faster than 100km/h?!? So I stick in slower track until 1st gas station, where I shut down the engine. After short break, ignited the engine to proceed the journey, TCS remained off (normally) and car was able to accelerate smoothly.

Today after 60km drive, 500m before home, the ENGINE warning light turned on!?

Detailed diagnostics & service is NECESSARY ASAP, I guess.
Let me know if there is any advice to dedicate special attention to, please?
I read that it's even recommended to avoid igniting the engine within these circumstances -should I call the service to do onsite diagnostics at my place? That'd be pricey :(

Have a good weekend!
