Currently an user of Unitronic intercooler here, from where I come from we have summer all year long and it can get pretty hot at times too.
Had the car strapped on the dyno and the numbers don't lie. The intercooler is a lot more resistant to heat soak. Of course I had a layer of boron nitride coating on the surface which helps too.
