Scirocco .:R in Mexico?

I live right next to mexico and i heard the other day, through word of mouth, that you could buy a scirocco in mexico! Any one know the truth and if true is the R there too? If it is there, Viper Green Scirocco .:R here i come!

i dont beilieve its possible. answered my own question. looked at the mexican vw website but i think u still might be able to order one from a dealer down ther. any thoughts?

I do not think ordering one and getting a scirocco over is the problem. If you have the money I am pretty sure you can do it. The only problem I see is if it is possible to make it street legal.

Good luck bringing back to the states and registering it.

If you have enough coin you should just pick up a Scirocco from HPA motors as a kit car.
