Integrated Engineering's NEW MK6 R 2.0T Intake Manifold and Software Solutions

i installed this intake on my FSI Golf R last weekend. i was waiting to do the clutch at the same time because IE states that the engine hanger needs to be removed for clearance. I found that on my 2012 FSI this is NOT the case. For anyone on the fence about this manifold and the premium velocity stack it features, I just thought you would want to know that you may not need to remove your engine hanger from the front right position on the FSI.

the fuel rail bracket just needs some Dremel fitting with cutoff wheels, the grinding stone and sanding drums for finishing; and a half round mill bastard file for shaping.

getting the oil dipstick tube to line up with the other hose bracket and the boss was tricky, i actually went without the washer and maybe used a 7mm vs the 5mm bolt. make sure the oil tube us fully seated before mounting the manifold.

the hpfp fuel line to fuel rail is tight, mount the valve first, then the bracket clamp over the dv bracket on the boss.
