Hey guys so on my mk6 gti when i let go of the clutch slowly it makes some weird rubbing noise, can anyone tell me what it might be

I dont know how to really explain 
i can feel it in my clutch pedal i hear it somewhere under my hood and the sound only happens when i let go of the clutch slowly

Is this your first car with a dual mass flywheel?
Definitely sounds more like your throw out beating is going out. I ha similar thing happen to my sti before and it got worse as I did more driving. Eventually by the time I replaced clutch, throw out bearing was seized.
