OK... to fix this post, I must have not been thinking correctly last night...
As exiting the interstate, I had a V6 accord on my tail. I took off and really laid into the turns, he sped up and wasn't able to handle it so backed off. Then as the turn straightened and became 2 lanes, he got into the other lane. I was in third gear taking off hard... he stayed the same distance behind but never gained any ground. as I slowed down, he blew past me and drove like a bat out of hell down the road. When I pulled up next to him I told him his car was pretty quick, was it the V6? His reply was that it was a "V8", as he did the badass grab the steering wheel with one arm and try to look bigger than you are thing. I chuckled to myself as I went on my way.
BTW anyone else notice their car's exhaust make almost a pop between shifts during shifts after driving hard? Kind of like a backfire but stopped because of the fast shifting.
