I've got the AWE catback on and LOVE it! The black polished tips too! On my black gti. Mature is a good description I like to use. Just a bit louder than stock, minimal drone at 1800-200, and when under load. But when you hit it, like trying to get on a highway, or passing on a two lane, it sounds pretty damn good! Fitment is in NO WAY an issue with it due to all the adjustability. VERY IMPRESSED with AWE!

Sounds pretty good. Have any pics of the tips on your car? Kinda not sure how they would look. Reason I like the other catbacks is the muffler under the valance just give it that nice filled in rear look.

Off topic. Love the meaty tires. What size?

I think all exhaust recommendations should specify whether with or without downpipe. The DP adds a ton of noise and tendencies for more drone with many of the cat back systems.

No complaints about SPM from me, just wish it was a little louder.

Maybe you can swap out the midsection for the track.

Recently installed a Unitronic catback. Fitment was spot-on and the sound is great. Zero drone with DSG. Definitely worth the money.

Worth an extra 2-300 when the others seem to fit good.

SPM or CTS CATBACK

Well....CTS emailed me and they are back ordered on the catbacks . Impatient as I am I searched and searched and found the AWE catback for $551 shipped! Thanks to Supreme Power which is a vendor in here for the best price I found after 8hrs or searching. Lowest price won me over! Can't wait to install this!

245/40/17

This video is the same setup OP had selected with a stock downpipe.

On a unrelated note... that mid section pipe(that says back order currently) has been on back order since last october...

CTS turbo FTW.
