I've owned an LS1 powered Camaro and an LS3 powered Corvette (same engine that's in the current Camaro SS). There is simply NO COMPARISON in performance between any of those cars and a GTI! None.

This Camaro SS pulled a whopping 10 seconds (nearly 1,200 feet) per lap on the GTI at Virginia International Raceway in this C&D "Lightning Lap."
