Running your front turn signals as DRLs

Does anybody know if it's possible to run your front turn indicator lights as DRLs? VAGCOM? I want to change the bulbs out to a high-output LED and have those on instead of my Xenon bulbs. In Canada its law to have DRLs on during the day so mine come on as soon as I drop my handbrake. Thanks.

I don't believe you can, there's only 2 wires going to the bulb so there's no parking light function for lack of a better word. I looked into this because I wanted the same thing. You can run your fogs as drl, not sure if you knew that, it's there in Vag-com.

On my xenon package there is a small led/whatever light just under the driving lights. I want to use these as my DRL. Does anyone know how to do that one?

I think you're talking about the city lights. Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to run JUST them as your DRL's, I think you can run them combined with your fogs as DRL's though.

Yes you can. But you need vagcom and the euro switch.

Not really the same as DRL's when you have to have the tails on with the euro switch though.
