I'm getting the P0302 code again. I had it about 6 months ago and then it went away. It's back though and it usually comes on around 6k rpm or higher. Today it came on when I was sitting at the drag strip with launch control around 2,300 RPM. I'm really not sure what it could be.
I've swapped coils and the code does not move. I bought a 5th coil just in case and that did not fix the issue. Different plugs at different gaps did not fix the issue. The dealership told me I had very minimal carbon buildup when I got my intake manifold replaced and it didn't need to be cleaned (maybe near 10k ago?).
So should I just go for the carbon cleaning at a shop? Is there a way to see if it is an injector issue?
