First Service done

Hi all,

I've had my 2011 mk6 1.6 TDi for around 2 months now and so far everything seems good.

I've had it serviced today for the first time since owning the car, it came with full service history and had it's last major service at 30K miles, it's now on 47K and I've put it through another major service today. This includes a brake fluid and aircon service conditioning (the previous owner decided to kindly reject this advisory on the previous service so I was told) which bumped my major service from £260 to £397

A couple of advisories emerged:
2 tyres needed replacing as one had a nail in it as well as it being 2.0MM on thread which I'm looking to do by changing it to a part warn bumping it to 3.0MM again. They're around £20 each at a local garage.

Anyway moving on to more 'serious things' I was told that some water coolant was found near the waterpump area and they suspect that it is leaking. My car is due for a cambelt change in january 2016 and so with this in mind they have quoted me £450 to have the cambelt changed as well as the waterpump repair. Now this doesn't bother me too much as January is a little while away. Anyone recommended looking at a specialist for this?

Secondly, I had a comment for the clutch "the clutch is hard and the biting point is high and I suspect that the clutch is wearing". Ofcourse this sounds quite concerning and I'd hate for the clutch to give out on me mid way during a journey, but has anyone else had this comment before? My clutch was fairly hard to press (though not too hard) when I bought the car, it now appears to be a little lighter compared to before but still concerning as a comment. I was not quoted for a repair as it's an advisory but how much would I be looking at?

Probably about $1500-$2000. I'm putting in an aftermarket clutch and it'll cost me about $2100 after everything is all said and done. I don't know how much less/more OEM clutch kits are. With that many miles, if you were going to do it, I would have them replace the flywheel too
