While getting in to my car today, i accidentally hit the obd2 bracket with my foot, and it snapped off. The bracket is still in good shape, however the bracket that it attaches to the dash with broke. Does any one know the part number of the piece that mount attaches to?

damn must be wildly slinging them feet in there because that thing is pretty well tucked in lol.
good luck with the search, i tried my google skills but didnt really come up with anything you might need to drive to a VW dealer and show them the part you need.

No. The mount broke off at the point it attaches to the under dash mount. The mount didnt break, but the bracket that attaches it to the dash broke

Or you could try some gel super glue and pray for the best that it doesnt snap off again. (i always hold the back end when i push something into it).

This happened to me as well. My foot kicked it and broke it off the bracket.
I ended up using super glue and it’s been holding up so far.
Not buying the entire bracket. Lol. Cheap easy bandaid fix.
