Bilstein PSS and bumpstop cutting

Other than waiting for a few more parts, I am almost set to install my Bilstein PSS.

I know the fronts has internal bump stop, but not the rears. Are you supposed to cut the rear bump stop or leave it alone?

I'd measure the length of the OE and the Bilstein shock. They may have provided a shorter one and cutting the OE stop would be unecessary.

It does not come with a shorter bump stop.

I am wondering if I am better off buying the Euro bump stop and put it in since the kit is probably TUV certified under the Euro spec mk6 GTI
