what is that bracket????

so, browsing through ECS today I trip across the CARBONIO stage II intake pipe, which I already have....

HOWEVER, there is an additional bracket (or something) in their pic that I DON'T have, and it doesnt really mention it in the contents....

what the hell is it and do I need to get one??

It is not for our car. It is the ram air plate for the CC and I believe the Passat.

weird.... it's listed and shown with the GOLF MKVI 2.0T kit (along with a CFBA filter)....
