Lowering Car on 5x100 with Adapter

Hi all,

stumbled across a really good local deal on a set of Enkei RPM2s. 18x8, 5x100, et35. I know I'll need to run a 5x112 to 5x100 adapter and the shortest I can find are 15 mm.

Now I don't completely understand offset to begin with, but from what I gather this will put me at 50 mm. Stock is 51 mm, but the increase in wheel width will give me 6.35 mm in itself.

I don't really have plans to slam the car but I do want to drop on something like H&R Super Sports and would like to only do the fender screw mod as opposed to rolling and pulling.

The question is can I swing it or am I better off finding something in 5x112 with a et42-45 offset?

et35 plus your 15mm adapter will not work without modifications (stick out past fender). Find something you'd like that is 5x112 et45 is your best bet.

This. Et 35 is fairly aggressive as is.

Offset goes the other way. It's 35 - 15 = +16 offset.
