So... I purchased my lovely 2013 gti wolfsburg 4D on January 17th of this year. Manual transmission. Bought used ofc with only 10k miles. Pretty much bought the car before it was even serviced or listed online. According to the salesman it is "rare to find a 4-door manual trans. gti down here in soflo" Here it is on the rack the day I bought it.

Its actually completely snapped apart. But its on the small collar part that doesnt really seem like a supportive piece. Im going for my service soon so ill see how much it is for a replacement.

I actually like it a lot. I bought it purely because of esthetics and the fact that it eliminates the small filter on the other tube near the filter(dont remember what its called) by just plugging into the bigger filter. Its the only intake on the market that does that. The only thing about the afe intake is that you need to put a slightly bigger O-ring on the pcv tube or else itll slowly leak oil onto the engine.
