Just went with a friends bmw 323 e46 on the highway to see how they would compare. He is bone stock with an auto tranny. Golf has intake, exhaust, mount, minor weight reduction and manual tranny. Started in 3rd and by 100 I had 4 car lengths on him. I was quite surprised by the result. I figured id get him but not by that much however it makes sense I guess figuring in weight, mods, tranny.
