If you already don't like the Golf, don't mod it just to sell it. We all have the cursed/blessed modding set of minds here, but as I got older(currently 28) and past my Honda driving days, 7 years of them, I've learned patience.

So I'd say if you don't like the Golf, sell it for a beater that you might actually like better. I mean like a $2k-4k beater and put the rest of your money in an investment, such as mutual funds in the stock market that will grow somewhat in dividends in over a year.

Fall 2016 hits, and your money has been growing somewhat(more than $0 = profit) along with working more hours per week...cause honestly, 12 hours per week is nothing...you're spinning your wheels bro...

Build credit in between for low interest rate for when you are ready
