Hello,
So a couple months ago I went to a car wash without realizing that I had accidentally left off a headlight cap on one side when I replaced my turn signals to LEDs.
Turns out water got in there and fried the AFS module. I took it in for a diagnostic and they want to charge me 800 to replace it, which is obviously insane and I don't have the money for that.
I was wondering if anyone out there has done this before. I am trying to avoid having to take off the front end if possible, but if I have to no matter what, I can try and install my old APR intercooler at the same time (another job that I know nothing about).
I've been putting it off but the error chime and light is getting old fast.
The part number they told me was 7L6 941 329B.
I'm kind of worried though that if the part they said was bad isn't right, I would basically have no recourse if I did the work myself.
