GTI MK6: Leather or Cloth?

I have the leather as it was what that had on the lot. It certainly makes the car feel a little more luxury. If they had had a cloth 4dr with Xenons, while I'm not a fan of the tartan look, I would have taken it instead. Basically just one reason. The cloth breathes a lot better which means staying cooler in the summer and there is no doubt from my test drives that the heated seats feel warm far sooner than with the leather. The leather smells good though...

I come from a car with leather, now have the cloth seats.

I don't miss the leather at all.

I admit I was worried about the seats getting dirty. I am very pleased to report that they are very stain resistant. I wiped off a stain of cream cheese that had been on the passenger seat for over 3 weeks easily with a wet wipe. I also cleaned some dirt on the back seats form the kid's muddy shoes.

So all in all, very happy with the cloth seats.
