Sup guys! This is my first post and I hope I'm not posting in the wrong place, couldn't find anything about the specific brand of headlights by searching..
So I've had a 2011 gti for three weeks now and put in Junyan aftermarket headlights last weekend for fun.. they look like this:
Not sure if it's just a crap product or if I'm unlucky but even after checking on the harness that power gets to the halo circles, the drl halos and light strips only work intermittently and they're not very bright..
One of the headlights seems straight up faulty because the strip never ever turned on and I get an error message for the drl in the the dash. It I thought it might also be a problem due to... programming... maybe? Because the way it was setup with the halogen headlights was basically that the drls consisted of the low-beams (I think) but dimmed somewhat. Maybe it's that behavior that's causing the problem and needs to be adjusted.. ?
Anyone have any idea?
