MKVI GTI slightly faster to 60...

VW claims that the DSG will pull you to 60 in 6.7 seconds rather than 6.9 they advertised with the MKV. It also seems the new GTI is lighter, so thats how they did it.

it always seems that people get slightly faster times too with makes me think i might be able to pull off 6.2?

6.9 or 6.7 is if you just floor it from a stop, But if you use launch control, people say you can get down to 6.0 with the MKV. I think I saw it on the Car and Driver website.

So possibly, you can break into the 5's with the MKVIs.
