2.5L APR for MK5 work on MK6?

I know this might be a stupid question but what is different between the MK5 2.5 and the Mk6 that won't allow the tune to work.

the separation is more in the model year. In 2009(although still mk5), the ecu encryption was changed. So the differentiation is actually 05-08 vs 09+

To answer your question. MAF sensor is no longer there. The ECU is different after 09+ and it was tested with 05-08 rabbit 2.5. Hence why; it doesn't work.

Will there be an apr tune for the mk6?

No. There is no tune from apr that will work on the mk6.
