Hi there,
2009 mk6 GT TDI 140 61k.
The gear shift in my car is very notchy, also the clutch goes in and out of phases of being heavy and light, with random bite level.
You have to almost rev match all the time, with a gentle pressure on the stick before it goes in (changing up), and tyring to down shift without rev matching is just totally unpleasant !
I bought the car with 53k mileage, now 61k, so I guess driving it, is stressing the gearbox also.
I am guessing the clutch is not full dis engaging. Nothing wrong at all with the feel of the bite, does not judder, and no slip at all...
What is odd, is that after the ABS / ESP has been activated for whatever reason it feels better, is this something to do with the pump bleeding the fluid, and both brakes and clutch using the same reservoir?
