Getting water inside the car

Just looking for any one who has or had this issue.

I have a 4 dr gti and an getting water under the rear passenger floor. after a hard rain the factory carpet gets soaked. Last storm I went inside and noticed no water at all coming in but floor was getting soaked. I think its seeping in from the seal and going under the carpet door jam molding.
Im taking it to dealer but they state they have not had this issue with the new gti yet. 10k miles never an accident. So pissed

Anyone

Do you have a sunroof? Might be clogged drain tubes...?

I've had my window seal changed twice under warranty. The second time did the trick.

I'm getting water in my spare wheel well in the boot of my car. Work over the Christmas period, with a hose has shown that water is going behind the black plastic moulding, that is part of the rear light cluster and then finding its way into one of the boot venting vents that are high up inside the bumper apron. By pulling away the boot trim, on the right hand side I can see this vent and the water coming in around it.
This bumper apron was hit in a car parking incident in November when some woman idiot in BMW X3 reversed into my reversing car, catching the corner of the bumper. Had new bumper and was resprayed however possible damage to this vent or its seal was missed and so the car is going into the dealers again in a fortnight's time to have the bumper removed and the seal replaced or resealed at my cost. Labour is about 90/hour!!

Dealer found it. The took apart the rear passender trims and carpets and tested and found both sides of the passenger door leaking from lower seals. They ordered parts and are replacing both door seals and carpet and padding. They so far have done a quick and great job locating. I prey they do a good install, my car does not have a mark on it or any noises coming from rear.
