Beautiful picture, great location, a Reservoir/Park ? nice, what do they call that area?

Nice car, probably the most power modded i've read about on the forum.

I'd guess northern England, don't they call that area "The Lake Country"?

It is the Ladybower reservoir, which is about 10 mins from where I live. It was used in the second world war as one of the locations for testing the "bouncing bomb".

Beautiful location, thanks for the info.

I just noticed your quarter mile time. I remember back in the early 60's. we all had new cars, and several of my friends ran their cars at the drag strip. most were chevy's 327 ci, 250 HP or 300 HP, 4 speed, positraction, etc. But without any mods, maybe 14.8, 92 mph

Rework the carburetor, distributor, good tires, take the stuff out of the trunk, maybe 13.9. 98-100. Naturally the cars were heavy, so most racing for money was done on deserted stretches of the highway.

So these cars are fast stock, and certainly with your mods

I bought it sight unseen and don't 100% know the make. Only cost $300 so I thought it was worth a gamble. The guy I bought it off had bought an industrial unit with all CF stuff in it and just wanted rid.

Yeah, initially I was going to paint it, but as it blends quite well it is being left raw.
