Good tips, thanks. It snowed again last night, so no real desire to crawl around on the driveway till the nice spring weather eventually comes around, so the project is on hold.
I have been advised to wait until it breaks off because it will be a lot easier to install it. Otherwise the Sawzall will be the "off" and the 1/2" socket (fits tighter than 13 mm) will be the "on". At this time there are no issues with the sounds, so it would be nice to delay the install until we are out of salt season.

That'll do it Don't over torque the nuts on the new clamp though! (torque should be ~30ft/lbs)
