i use the ios app Auto Care for the vw, used tinkerbuilt vehicle logbook for the truck but updates have kinda stalled. prefer the logbook jargon over auto care but development and excel compatability is better with auto care

I made up an excel spreadsheet. Basic but it works. I started a new one when I got the GTI, so it does not have much on it. For my Passat I also added extra tabs for oil changes, and timing belt changes. There is probably a way to have Excel do all that automatically, but I manually copy and pasted everything. A bit of a pain but it works. I also keep a file folder with all receipts.

another vote for the auto care app. Makes it super easy to input everything and you can set it up with intervals for recurring items. If you use it log your fuel mileage, you get notifications when something is due too.
