mk6 boost pressure?

what kind of boost pressure should a completly stock mk6 be making at top peak and crusing speed also what would the vacumm pressure be at idling? just installed my guage and just want to make sure it is reading correctly?

Our cars stock should be around 12 psi. Correct me if im wrong but thats what ive been told. If you go apr stg 1 i hear our turbos can push up to 15~17PSI! What does ur boost guage read?

Yeah, stock should peak around 10-12 then settle at 6-7. What I read too as I do not have a boost gauge.

ok sweet mine is reading right then, peaks at 11-12 psi, settles at 5-6 psi, that was my first mod to come car just wanted to make sure i did it all right. thanks for the info.

I guess I need more boost I had not seen anything about this yet. Well look out stage 2 here I come. Any one know the Average boos pressure for Stage 2?

no difference in boost pressure between stage 1 and stage 2.

Its Cool I just need more boost :lol: I am coming from having tons of boost to a little bit. I know it is not my EVO but I would like to be in double digits at the low end.

I am getting around 1.3 ~ 1.4 bar max for stage 2. I believe a 100 cel cat helps in that part as another car with similar set-up but using a 200 cel cat, is able to boost 1.2 ~ 1.3 bar.

Hmmm interesting. I thought my car was broken when I got o stg 2 with only 17psi. Coming from 2007 FSI with stg 2 I could get up to 25 Psi.

@ OP: what boost gauge did you get?

If anyone is still wondering, Unitronic's website claims that the stage 1 produces 16psi, and the stage 2 produces 20psi of boost. Their claim, I do not have a gauge.
