2.0 TDI 110ps v 140ps

Hiya All,

I'm new to this forum and in the market for 2.0 TDI Golf. I know the basic differences of the 110ps engine to the 140ps one. With the 140 having simply a different ECU and a 6 speed gearbox but I'm wondering if anyone could inform me of any other differences. Will the 6 speed feel that much different to the 5 speed too?

I'm not bothered about the current lack in power of the 110 to the 140 as ideally after having the car for a few weeks, I will having it remapped with Revo or APR who state they can get the power to 170+ on both. Can anyone give me any feedback on this too?

Many thanks, Jake.
