2011 GTI Headlight bulbs

I just picked up a 2011 GTI Base but I hate the halogen DRL's and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to switch them to a white light (LED, White halogen, Xenon, whatever). Something that doesn't set off a code. I noticed that the Bulb is a 2 stage for drl's and hi beams. Anyone have any ideas for me? Much appreciated. I have the base model halogen lights. (pic attached).

There are many options you can go on about. You can order the links provided from others, or get a new headlight with the projectors. If OEM projector headlights aren't in the price range for you, there are aftermarket headlights to purchase as well (Eds, DEPO, etc.) I personally went from halogen to Eds and couldn't be more satisfied.

I actually have some of these coming in the mail. But those aren't the lights in talking about, those are the city lights that come on when the headlights are turned on. I want to change the daytime driving lights that automatically come on.

I made the change from DRL using the high beams to using the fogs with my Carista app. It also gives me the option of turning off the DRLs in the MFI screen.

As for whiter bulbs Siverstar Ultras will do that. The city lights also can be Silverstars for a whiter light. The only whiter H15 bulb I've found that works are the ones from Deautokey, but they are kind of blueish.

lukesGTIlukesGTI - that is for the xenon housing and not reflector housing being referenced here.

We have those here that are bright white and creates visibility vs not being bright enough to see anything - that is again for projectors though:
http://deautokey.com/product/new-d1s...en-audi-models

But to have it all in one place - OP has the OEM halogen/reflector housing - below is all for the reflector:

For HID kit - H7rc Low beams:
http://deautokey.com/product/mk6-gti...-and-resistors

High Beams - H15 LEDs:
http://deautokey.com/product/h15-day...en-audi-models

City LEDs - much better vs the halogen city bulbs:
http://deautokey.com/product/vw-audi...ite-error-free

Front turns for reflector or projector housings:
