Car ran like crap now is ok VCDS codes

Hi, my car was running fine 4 days ago, then all of a sudden it almost stalled and went into a limp mode - dash said "check engine" and "service car now". RPM's were all over the place and wanted to stall. Engine shaking badly. No vacuum leaks. I thought maybe my R8 red coilpacks were toast, but doesn't appear so.

Turned car off for 20 minutes, car started up, but said service engine now. Drove fine for 15 minutes, then started rpms all over place and wanting to stall. At idle, I pushed in the gas pedal so it would go to 2-3K rpms so it wouldn't stall.

Car has old APR 1.2 tune, when driving bad, it showed cruise control on, so hit cruise control on off and still showed as on. Ran VCDS and showed 3 errors to Throttle and 2 ECU errors. Throttle errors maybe because I was revving it at idle.

The program switching on APR tune got locked somehow, and it was in stock mode at the time. Next day car ran fine, I fiddled with the throttle pipe and not much oil inside. Took off the negative battery to perhaps reset car ECU. Car back in 93 APR mode, and running fine for three days now.

Any ideas ? Is ECU going out or perhaps the throttle body? I did a VDCS TBA and it showed 16.4% open, which was the same as before the TBA.
