17x9 +30 ET - any issues?

Hi all, I am specifically looking at these wheels:

Or at least something with similar specs. Would I be able to safely run these with 225 tires with strut/fender clearance?

I am on coil-overs at about 24.5 FTG all around.

Well I'm on 18x8.5" on stock suspension running 225... I did the fender mod just in see and it's only with a full tank and huge bumps down a good speed that I graze the tires.. pretty sure next up for me is when I drop in a set of springs that I will have negative camber on the rear hoping I avoid rolling the fenders

a 225 tire is going to look like crap stretched on a 9" rim and the performance is going to be terrible. If you aren't slammed it'll look dumb as well. You need to run at least a 235/40 with that, and a +30 is pushing it, I would look at a +35 which would still be extremely aggressive.

I'm running a 18x9.5 +40 with a 245/40 on a lowered car and I'm doing it without over fenders, but it took a lot of time and work to stop the rubbing.

Thanks for the info guys. I will likely try to run a less aggressive setup as the wheels above are too heavy for my taste.
