Shifter issue/fix

Hey all was just wondering if this was normal or if there's a bushing or something that would fix this in my shifter. I linked a short vid I uploaded to show exactly what I mean, hope it helps.

Yep, should be your first troubleshooting step since it's free and relatively easy. Most of the work is just removing the airbox to access the linkages. There are a few good how-tos on YouTube, and keep in mind the procedure is the same for just about all VWs from Mk4 and up.

Agreed. But it’s fonna be the shitty oem bushings on the bracket. I can call it now. The front to back goes bad from “spirited shifting” side to side from finding neutral. Go w doeselgeek Short shifter and Tyrolsport Stainless Steel bushings. Definetely verify tho.
