It looks like a mk5.5... not too much different. the front is very 'black' ... dark grille and dark lower intake... maybe the GTI or r32/36 front will be more body color? I think they could make a nice jetta based on this design language. Wheels are hot! interior is hot!

Wow I really like that, it reminds of the Scirocco and the W12 650 mixed

The taillights are very Touareg and the front end is very Scirocco.

With the biggest difference that the Scirocco has the VW-badge on the hood and the Golf has it in the grill

I don't like how large the grill in the front is, hopefully the GTI looks sexier and 4 Motion in a GTI would be fun.

I want to like it, but I don't. we'll see what the actual release has in store.

As with most things... I don't like it at first but I bet it will grow on me... I am liking the rear end though, and I like the stance of the car. Looks nice and squat, maybe a lil wider too.
Colour is /puke though (the blue). I'd like to see a GTI version ![]() |

One of the many cases where "all-new" is simply not true.
Also one of those cases where you need a photo of the new car next to the old one to really notice the extent of the differences.

from the side it looks like a 5, front and back is where the big changes are seen. I like it, dont think id trade in my 5 for it, unless i stepped up to the 4 motion which i assume would be an r32 which better come in stick LOL.
