Build it 100-200 lbs lighter than the current MKV GTI with the 230 HP engine and they will come.

I love the way the Mk6 is look so far. The whole, "boy racer," thing seems to be gone now and VW is going back to its roots.

I can only imagine what those wheels weight is. the hufs are heavy as hell these things must be like cinder blocks. unless there is some sort of new crazy machining process that BBS used on them. As always I look foreward to all the specs little tricks and toys the car offers but I can't say that based on the look a lone I would not trade.

That's pretty good skillz. Not sure I like the wheels, but you've done a pretty good job.

styling is a disgrace. has lost its aggresive looks and stance. mk4 was also a disgrace, but they picked it up abit with the mk5, at least it looked agressive from most angles. looks like a smaller scale touran, i dont like it. just my 2p's worth.

I really love it that they lost the damn siderub strip. The car looks a serious lot better without it

If you read German or know how to use Babelfish...

Check out the latest from Germany here...

If only they'd bring the new 170hp Diesel to the US... The old MK 4 170hp diesels reach 150mph on the Autobahn... The new GTi is rumored to have 240hp from the 2 liter 4 cylinder, up 10 hp from the current Euro GTi 30...

Off topic a bit... the new Scirocco here:
