Ask a Canadian Salesperson

I started a thread like this on the MKV forum. Basically if there are any questions regarding the MKVI Golf I'll answer what I can. If anyone wants to order one, I can do that too!

OK I have a black 4 doors GTi 2007 which is paid and will probably have 50 000 km in autumn...
If I want a new white/silver GTi mk6 4 doors ....how much do you think I will have to pay for it lol....?
No seriously, I'm a canadian too and we are probably able to make buiseness....but do you know more about the GTi-R because the GTi need a K04 turbo...If only we could have audi S3 in Canada

So far there's no word on a GTI-R for Canada; it's not on the 2010 order guide.

Do you know if it will be a TSI or FSI?

Technically, the "real" TSI engine we won't see over here. That is the small displacement engines (1.4L and the like) with both a turbocharger and a supercharger. For North America the only major difference between our TSI and the FSI (to the best of my knowledge) is that the TSI has a timing chain instead of a belt. Other than that (and the location of the water pump and stuff like that), both engines are identical. I just popped the hood of the Tiguan in the showroom and it says TSI on the engine cover. So to answer your question - I'm not sure which lettering will be on it, but it'll be the same engine.

As for launch vehicles, usually we get them LOADED. The first TDI Touareg had everything - I'm still looking for the kitchen sink in that one.

Raz, can you ask - or check - if the new golf with Bi-Xenon lights does, or does not, have daylight running lights? Could you also make a few shots up close of the Bi-Xenon lights in the golf?

wicius - Unfortunately, the 2010 Golf will not have Bi-Xenon headlights as an option - in both the 3-door Sportline or the 5-door Highline. GTI only.
