I'm really liking the look of the badgeless front.

And I would KILL for that blue color... Looks amazing. I know it sounds stupid, but I would seriously consider getting my future MKVI painted that color

Question What do you call this kind of colour/treatment to get the rims looking like this?

I think this colour rim could be stylish affordable mod to a new black Golf VI GTi-what do you think?

I know this is photoshop obviously, but can you actually "paint/tint" the standard wheels to get this effect; I have no idea, so if are any experts on this sort of mod feel free to assist..

Nice, post some pics when you finally get them on your ride.

Are you going with different lips/offsets for front an rear?

Detroits in black aren't bad.

Personally I'm leaning towards RS4 (B7) reps:

My local dealer works directly with a VW/Audi replica store and will include these in the lease, crediting the stock Denvers.

Otherwise I'm a huge fan of the snowflake 18's fifteen52 are working on too:

Yes, you can get any wheel powdercoated. It depends on where you are and what shops are available to you, but in my area it's usually around $100-$150 per wheel.

good auto-x wheels, I'd be afraid to drive with those on the roads we have around here though.

Why would you be afraid to?? They are VERY well made and strong as can be . . . . The roads here are no walk in the park . . . . (middle TN)

DC/Baltimore is a nightmare for potholes - worse than Boston, in my experience. Terrible, terrible roads. Not to mention ruts, grooves, sinks, bumps...

You have the right idea. I am all about function>form and those TRMotorsports wheels look good too. If I get a GTI it will likely be between those and the RPF1.
