Hi Sammy, a few questions regarding your cylinder head work:

Valve seats recut to go +1mm? Port work was just tidying up, no major material removal or shaping? How are the valve guides custom? Valves and springs upgraded to Ferrea, or ?

I have my engine apart, and can't find a whole lot of info as to what areas we can improve upon on the TSI head (in fact, most seem to be saying that there is no point as the head flows just fine). But also don't want to bolt everything back together to find out that I could have seen some benefit from further work......

Hey dude.

My head spent 20+ hours on a flow bench and about 100 hours with a die grinder... INA can get the same specification with a 5 axis CNC machine in much less time.

We removed a significant amount of material from the ports, the intake side was the worst.. And yes we saw massive improvements in flow. I am using the stock size ferrea valvetrain. Again because you really need a CNC machine to properly cut +1mm oversize valve seats. New valve guides and stem seals are essential.
