18" VW Interlagos

Merelington

Ready to race!
So I've finally settled on hunting for OEM 18" Interlagos. I seem to be getting mixed info on these and am looking for clarification.

Specs:

18x8
ET 41
57.1 centerbore
weight?????

Finishes:

-Polished Chrome
-Bright Silver
-Is there a third "Metallic Silver" option....or does the "Bright Silver" look metallic in different lighting????

Bright Silver?

Metallic Silver?

Also while on topic....if someones selling I'm looking to buy

I see what you mean about the confusion. I've seen a traditional silver version and a polished version.

On ECS website it looks like the ones they're calling "Bright Chrome" appear to be more traditional silver.

The ones called "Burnished Aluminum" look polished.

And then you can throw the "hyper silver" replicas that they offer into the mix. $599 is cheap!

Dont forget about OEM Wheels Plus, they sell Interlagos reps, including a 19inch Matte Black version

Their 18inch Silver set is on sale right now for $589

Good price on those too. I wonder if they're made by the same manufacturer as the Alzors on ECS.

Barring any major difference in weight I would definitely go with the reps based on the price and slighty higher offset. Not to mention that I would go with 19's anyway.

I gotta say, I really like that brushed look of the Alzor's and that price is hard to beat. Anybody have a shot of these powder coated black? That would be pretty slick on a black or CSG car.

I like both, but I'd really like to see V713s on a MK6 as I've always loved those wheels...

Wow... that is cheap. Almost scary cheap, be interesting to track down the guys from the thread on Vortex and see how they've worked out. Found a couple threads on MB boards and nothing bad, so either everyone who bought them was wiped out in a fiery crash or they hold up fine.

Are you replying to my link?

If so the price is so cheap because they are replicas of wheels that are already pretty cheap. You could probably email them and ask bout materials used and how they are made
