i dont think i saw drain your coolant. not needed? those lines dont leak forever?

No need. I just placed a catch pan underneath and just tried not hit move them around alot. I probably lost a total of 1 cup of coolant.

DO IT!!!

On a side note. I think with the ease of the removal of the heatshield I believe its definitely a consideration for any downpipe removal. It would certainly help.

i'd probably just remove the downpipe first.. im so used to it..
